เม็ดค่อนข้างแข็งไปมาก และใหญ่ไปสำหรับ(นกเล็ก) แนะนำนกเล็กต้องทุบให้แหลกซะหน่อยค่อยให้นกกิน ไม่อย่างงั้นนกจะกัดไม่แตกและตกลงพื้นกรงทั้งเม็ด กลิ่นดี .... นกใหญ่แนะนำตัวนี้เลย
