operationWater flowing through is exposed to UV-C radiation. Organisms such as algae, bacteria, viruses and parasites are destroyed. Incidentally, ozone is also generated. This helps to break down harmful substances (redox). The flow rate has a decisive influence. If you only want to combat algae, viruses and bacteria (including cyanobacteria), up to 2500 l/h is sufficient. To even eliminate parasites, we recommend limiting the flow rate to a maximum of 800 l/h. Visible results can be expected after 1-2 days. Corals, plants, etc. get more light. -
